Emmys snub Judge Judy, ‘View’ish girls

Judge Judy and the hosts of “The View” were absent yesterday from the list of nominees for this year’s Emmys for daytime TV, announced yesterday.

Judy Sheindlin, who stars in the most-popular judge show by far, had been nominated for TV’s top award 14 times — without ever winning.

But this year, she did not make the list of nominees which include the lesser-rated “America’s Court With Judge Ross,” “Last Shot With Judge Gunn,” “Judge Joe Brown” and “We the People With Gloria Allred.”

As for the women of “The View,” they failed to be nominated as best talk show hosts — an award they won in 2009 — for the first time in recent memory.

The Barbara Walters crew was a little embarrassed back in 2009 when their names were announced as the winners — but none of them was there to accept.

“The View” itself is among the nominees for best talk show along with “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (the winner for six of the last eight years), “Live With Regis and Kelly” and “The Talk.”

The awards are set to be announced in June in LA.
