The burly suspect in this picture allegedly snatched a straphanger’s headphones from his bag in a University Heights subway station, then slashed his face and hands when he protested.

The theft and subsequent attack occurred on the No. 4 train’s southbound platform on East Burnside Avenue and Jerome Avenue at 2:40 p.m. Friday, cops said.

The victim was treated for his injuries at St. Barnabas Hospital.

The suspect, who fled, was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 210 to 240 pounds.

Sergio DeJesus, who is mentally ill, was last seen walking his black Chihuahua near East 140th Street at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

A hothead threatened in repeated phone calls to harm his roommate’s mom despite her having obtained an order of protection against him, cops said.

Ramon Figueroa, 23, called the woman on April 16, according to court papers, and snarled, “I’m gonna beat you into the ground, you f–king whore!”

He had terrorized the woman multiple times by the time he was arrested April 20 on charges of aggravated harassment, the court documents state.

A Manhattan court officer yesterday stabbed his gal-pal co-worker with a knife inside her home, police sources said.

Eduardo Vias, 35, allegedly stabbed the 35-year-old woman in the neck during an argument at 4 a.m. in her home on Moffet Street.

Vias, who was dating the victim, allegedly locked her up in the bedroom before attacking her.

The victim was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital, where neighbors said she remains in intensive care. Police sources said she is expected to survive.

Vias and the victim are both court officers at state Criminal  Court in Manhattan, authorities said.

Vias was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful imprisonment. He was suspended without pay, said court spokesman David Bookstaver.

A student carved the nasty word “c–t” into a teacher’s car in a school parking lot in Bulls Head, cops said.

A witness saw Shaun Garzone, 17, scratching up the Ford Escape on the grounds of Moore Catholic HS at noon last Thursday, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

Garzone was charged with criminal mischief and making graffiti.

A police raid of a suspected drug dealer’s Tompkinsville home netted not only two arrests, but 31 methadone pills, a crack pipe and drugs used to cut heroin, officials said.

Officers also discovered a loaded .25-caliber firearm in an armoire and a shotgun and more than 100 rounds of ammo in the basement, they added.

Ex-con Henry Church, 51, allegedly peddled 50 glasine envelopes containing heroin from his residence on Occident Avenue near Ward Avenue at 8:50 p.m. last Wednesday.

Arrested with him was Mabel Aponte, 50.

They were both charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia and criminal possession of a weapon.

Cops nabbed two alleged scammers outside a Midtown drugstore after they purchased prepaid credit cards with stolen funds, authorities said.

Rodney Brown, 46, and Samara Garner, 33, bought four Visa gift cards totaling more than $300 at a Duane Reade on April 28 and paid with credit cards linked to infiltrated bank accounts, officials said.

When they went back to purchase more gift cards, the transactions were declined, court documents say.

And later, an officer arrested them after spotting them in a car, sorting through their collection of bogus credit cards, cops said.

Brown and Garner were charged with identity theft, petit larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument, officials said.

A thug yesterday ended an argument with two men by slashing one in the face and the other in the chest with a boxcutter.

The attack occurred outside 2262 Second Ave. at about 4 a.m., cops said.

The victims, 31 and 34, were treated at Harlem Hospital for injuries that were not life threatening.

The suspect fled.
