Westchester super accused of sex with tenant’s dog

Prosecutors say the superintendent of a suburban New York housing complex entered a tenant’s apartment and had sex with a Labrador retriever.

The Westchester district attorney’s office says 43-year-old Kujtim Nicaj of Rye was arraigned Tuesday on charges of burglary and sexual misconduct.

He pleaded not guilty.

His lawyer said afterward that Nicaj denies all the charges.

Prosecutors say the Feb. 18 incident was captured on cameras set up by the apartment owner, who suspected someone had been breaking in.

They say Nicaj engaged in several sex acts with the owner’s 15-month-old dog.

If convicted, Nicaj could be imprisoned for up to 15 years.

He has since been fired as superintendent at the Rye Colony Cooperative Apartments.
