Flier out at ‘first’: Man punches PA officer during fight at La Guardia

It was a first-class fracas in the front row of a Florida-bound jet at La Guardia Airport yesterday.

Upper East Sider Larry Nussbaum was busted for roughing up a Port Authority cop after the feisty flier was asked to switch seats aboard Spirit Airlines Flight 705 and refused, according to a PA police report.

Nussbaum, 60, who runs a graphics firm, says a flight attendant asked him to move because her own seat was broken. He balked because he had paid for first class and was being moved to another section, he told The Post.

That’s when PA cops were called in and a fight broke out.

PA cop Keith Bobe ended up being taken to the hospital with groin pain.

“It was a gross misunderstanding . . . I did not punch him in the groin,’’ said Nussbaum.

He said the disorderly-conduct charge against him was dropped, but the PA denied that.
