Police Commissioner Ray Kelly isn’t running for mayor, his biggest booster said yesterday.
Former Staten Island Borough President Guy Molinari emerged from a luncheon with Kelly saying it’s time to look for another candidate to fill the Republican mayoral slot in 2013.
“He is not going to run,” Molinari told the Staten Island Advance. “It is not something he is thinking about. It is not on his drawing board.”
Molinari has been touting Kelly as the best hope of retaining GOP control of City Hall when Mayor Bloomberg leaves office.
