MTV on Friday abruptly yanked an Internet casting call for men and women who wanted to “give up their V Card” in front of a national audience.
The open casting call posted earlier this month on RealityWanted.com was deleted after an inquiry from The Post.
“My First,” was set to take reality TV to a whole new voyeuristic level, hoping to lure virgins to share one of their most private, milestone moments on camera.
“We’re looking for adults who are ready to go all the way. Let MTV come along on your journey … as you try to lose your virginity!” the casting call said.
Those interested were asked to write to MTV explaining why they’d never “done it” before and why they were ready to “lose it” now.
MTV claimed it wasn’t turning the music channel into a porn station: No sex would be taped for the show, and all contestants had to be over 18.
An MTV spokeswoman said the open call was a “preliminary casting notice, and we’re not moving forward with a pilot.”
