Mobster: Thank God father

God got him off the hook.

Ranking Colombo crime-family mobster Thomas Gioeli is saying prayers of thanks for his recent acquittal for six mob hits.

“Through God’s grace my jury said not guilty,” Gioeli wrote on his blog, noting that the panel decided not to convict him of racketeering charges and multiple murders.

Brooklyn federal prosecutors had charged the former mob street boss with giving the green light for the half-dozen killings — including the slaying of off-duty NYPD Officer Ralph Dols, who was gunned down for marrying the ex-wife of another gangster.

“I was humbled, as well as reminded just how much our God, our Heavenly Father, loves me,” he wrote.

His musings are the latest example of wiseguys mixing their faith and violence.

During Gioeli’s recent trial, another mobster testified how “Tommy Shots” once had plotted a cold-blooded mob hit in the same church garden where he routinely goes to pray.

Several years ago, Gioeli also confessed to another wiseguy that he feared a future in hell because of his involvement in a mob rub-out gone bad that resulted in the shotgun slaying of an ex-nun.
