WATCH: NJ ‘tan mom’ – being bronzed ‘just feels good’

The New Jersey tan addict, accused of child endangerment, insisted she’s no different than any mom who enjoys simple life pleasures like finger -nailing polishing, smoking or food.

Patricia Krentcil told NBC’s “Today” she didn’t bring her 5-year-old daughter into a tanning bed, as alleged by prosecutors, and lashed out at Jersey salons that have pre-emptively banned her.

“I didn’t do anything wrong. Is there something wrong about getting your nails done or somebody who smokes too much or somebody who overeats?” said Krentcil, in an interview aired this morning.

“If this was such a problem Why wasn’t this said years ago?“

She was particularly miffed at fellow moms, who have questioned her parenting.

“Look in the mirror and look at yourself instead of looking at me,” she complained.

“I’m sorry I’m tan. I like to be tan. It just feels good. But I really that think these moms … need to step off and step away.”
