Cop-killer Dexter Bostic called ‘Grim Reaper’ at trial

A Brooklyn man today took the stand to describe the thug who allegedly shot him — and would go on to kill a cop a day later — as the “Grim Reaper.”

Victim Carl Field, 30, said he was hanging out with buddies after a party in Jamaica, Queens, on the night of July 8, 2007, when Dexter Bostic jumped out of a stolen Porsche with cohort Robert Ellis and opened fire as part of a random robbery.

“A big, scary-looking dude who looked like [slain rapper] Biggie Smalls and the Grim Reaper is the guy who shot me,” said Field, referring to Bostic, 38.

Field said he was trying to run away when the towering, husky Bostic allegedly shot him in the back of his left thigh and snatched his money, car keys and jewelry.

The next night, Bostic, accompanied by Ellis, shot dead NYPD Officer Russel Timoshenko and wounded his partner, Herman Yan, during a traffic stop gone awry in Brooklyn.

Bostic is currently serving a life sentence in the murder. Ellis, 38, is serving 15 years on a weapons rap in the case.

Fields’ testimony yesterday centered on Bostic in his own shooting, but Ellis is the one on trial for it in Queens. He faces up to 25 years for his role.

Bostic will be tried at a later date and faces the same potential sentence.

He was not in court yesterday. Ellis remained stone-faced while feverishly taking notes as Fields talked.
