Brooklyn high school administrator allegedly made sexual advances on teenage girls

A 43-year-old Brooklyn high school administrator allegedly propositioned oral sex from a 15-year-old student and made vile sexual comments to two other girls, city investigators said this morning.

The findings of a year-long investigation paint Progress HS for Professional Careers assistant principal William Abreu as a sleazy sexual predator who lured the three girls into his private office with promises of a summer job — but only in a bid to test their willingness to perform sexual favors.

“Would you suck my b—s for me? That’s the things [sic] you have to do to succeed,” he allegedly told one of the teenage girls. “You have to come to work looking sexy, so I can see how pretty you are.”

The report by the Special Commissioner of Investigation says Abreu asked a second girl about her bedroom habits with her boyfriend, and suggested she could stay a virgin by having only anal sex.

He told at least two of the three girls that he had gotten to where he was by sleeping around, and asked one of them if she’d be willing to do the same, the investigation found.

Abreu denied saying anything inappropriate to the girls and told investigators they were making false allegations against him because he was the Bushwick school’s disciplinarian.

When pressed, however, he acknowledged to the probers that none of the three had ever been disciplined.

In a second interview he told investigators that one of the girls had been mad at him for giving advice to her boyfriend that she didn’t like.

He could not be immediately reached for comment.

Investigators recommended that Abreu be fired and forwarded their findings to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office.
