Jerry Seinfeld is coming back to TV — but you may not recognize him.
Louis C.K. confirmed yesterday that Seinfeld will guest star in three episodes of his edgy FX comedy, “Louie.”
“Jerry did a part in that, and what he did was very different from what you’re used to seeing him do,” C.K. told the blog zap2it.com. “Jerry did a really great performance — I was really happy.”
Rumors of a Seinfeld appearance swirled last month when Chris Rock slipped during a press junket for his new movie “Madagascar 3” that his friend Seinfeld was on the New York City set of “Louie.”
Season 3 of the show premieres tonight at 10:30, but Seinfeld’s appearance won’t come until episode 10, according to zap2it.
Other guest stars this season will be Melissa Leo and Parker Posey, both as love interests for Louie, and Robin Williams.
