The CIA isn’t this secretive.
Alec Baldwin and his bride-to-be have so little faith that their A-list guests and closest relatives won’t blab about their wedding-reception plans that the details will be sent by text message on the day of their nuptials, The Post has learned.
“I’m going. I haven’t been told the location yet,” actor brother Stephen, 46, told The Post outside his suburban home yesterday. “That’s about all I can say, because he [Alec] can still kick my butt.”
Stephen is among dozens of guests — including “Saturday Night Live” boss Lorne Michaels, talk-show host Jimmy Fallon and most of the “30 Rock” cast — t in the dark about the venue.
As for the ceremony, Baldwin, 54, and fiancée Hilaria Thomas (left), 28, will be married at the historic St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Nolita, but they didn’t mail out invitations.
“They just told us to be available, nothing else,” said a Baldwin pal.
In order to have the Catholic wedding, they had to complete a marriage course called a Pre-Cana, which is custom-tailored by the Archdiocese of New York.
The easily aggravated Baldwin clearly didn’t punch out the priest during the couple’s private lessons — which outlined everything from the meaning of life to their sexuality to managing their millions.
And, in a strange twist, it will be Alec’s first marriage in the eyes of the church.
The archdiocese doesn’t recognize his 1993 wedding to actress Kim Basinger because it was held on an East Hampton beach and not in a church.
That means Baldwin’s daughter, Ireland, 16 — whom he famously called a “pig” in a 2007 voicemail — would be considered illegitimate.
Baldwin will be reflecting on his church wedding from the comfort of his own home next week, as the couple is not expected to go on a honeymoon.
Thomas is scheduled to return to teaching yoga classes on July 2, and Baldwin is slated to host a documentary film festival on July 6 in East Hampton.
The couple met last year while dining with friends at the downtown vegetarian restaurant Pure Food and Wine — and they have survived two stalkers and his recent meltdown with paparazzi.
Baldwin will have no shortage of work after his wedding. Besides his continuing gig on NBC’s “30 Rock,” he will be appearing on Broadway in a new play, “Orphans.”
In it, he will play a wealthy kidnapping victim who changes the lives of the captors who hold him for ransom in a decrepit north Philadelphia row house.
