B’klyn yeshiva leader charged with sex abuse

A Brooklyn yeshiva leader was charged yesterday after cops grilled him about allegedly sexually abusing three boys who attended the school where he worked.

Yoel Malik, 33, was charged with 12 counts of sexual abuse, 4 counts of criminal sexual act, 11 counts of endangering the welfare of a child and 1 count of forcible touching, police said.

Malik is accused of bringing two of the students to motels, law-enforcement sources said. He is suspected of sodomizing one of them at a motel, while the other fled a motel room after Malik allegedly started rubbing his back.

Malik allegedly took the third victim into his car and molested him there before school, sources said.

The boys were 12 to 14 years old. The school, Ohr Hameir, has since closed for unrelated reasons.
