Barbara Walters, who’s battling the chicken pox, says she expects to miss another three weeks on “The View” — and revealed she suffered a concussion when she fell in DC last month.
Walters, 83 — who’s been off the air since she fainted and hit her head during an inauguration-weekend party at the British Embassy — called into her ABC morning show this morning with an update on her condition.
“What happened was that I had a temperature and had chicken pox and didn’t know it,” Walters said. “So when I was in Washington for inauguration weekend, I fainted at the British Embassy . . . I hit my head and had six stitches and . . . I also got a concussion.
“So I have been a little weak,” Walters said. “I am not in pain, I’m not scratching too much . . . but I do feel just sort of weak and tired and probably won’t be back on the program for about three weeks.”
