A Washington Heights man was killed by a subway train yesterday when he went down to the tracks to get something he had dropped, police said.
John Williams, 58, was struck by a downtown D train at 6:45 a.m. at the West 72nd Street stop on Central Park West. He died a short while later at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Cops weren’t sure yesterday what he’d dropped.
