Your weekly guide to TV’s best and worst one-hour shows.

Real-life characters cross over into the fictional universe this week:

“The Good Wife” (Sunday, 9 p.m., CBS)

Mayor Michael Bloomberg appears as himself in the fourth-season finale, which would be great except that this show is set in Chicago. In what has become a tradition for the series, they end the season on election night — with Peter’s (Chris Noth) gubernatorial dreams looking up, but he could still end up a loser if Alicia (Julianna Margulies) rethinks his remarriage proposal — that is, if Will (Josh Charles) ever grows a pair and tells her how he feels. But does he feel anything at all? Charles and Margulies have certainly not been playing repressed passion here. Neither one behaves as if they couldn’t live without the other. Co-starring Christine Baranski and Archie Panjabi.

“Revenge” (Sunday, 9 p.m., ABC)

There’s plenty of the behind-the-scenes drama going on at this show, but Conrad (Henry Czemy) tries to give full access to the world of the Grayson family when he opens up the family home to scrutiny from “Nightline” correspondent and sometimes anchor Juju Chang, who plays herself. Among those with a target on their backs will be Emily (Emily VanCamp), who can’t avoid the engagement question forever, as well as Victoria (Madeleine Stowe), who’s suddenly unraveling as the truth comes out about the child she supposedly aborted. How long ago did she do that, for God’s sake? Sheesh.

“How I Met Your Mother” (Monday, 8 p.m., CBS)

The gang throws Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) a bachelor party at which “The Karate Kid” (and former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant) Ralph Macchio shows up, so Mama can only assume the episode will end with Barney performing the “Crane” move that allowed Macchio’s Daniel-son to win his match in the martial-arts movie. Frances Conroy, who played the matriarch on HBO’s funeral parlor drama “Six Feet Under,” also returns as Barney’s mom. Co-starring Jason Segel and Alyson Hanigan.

“Elementary” (Thursday, May 2, 10 p.m., CBS)

When Sebastian Moran (Vinnie Jones) tells Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) that one of Moriarty’s intended victims has conveniently ended up dead, the famous detective resumes his hunt for his archenemy. “Elementary” also makes time for a little shilling when WCBS anchor Kristine Johnson makes a cameo as — you guessed it — a news reporter covering the case. Co-starring Lucy Liu and Aidan Quinn. — Tiffany Wendeln Connors
