Traitor! De Blasio’s a New England fan

He’s a Patriot and a New York traitor.

Mayoral hopeful Bill de Blasio, already outed as a loathsome Boston Red Sox fan, completed his evil Beantown two-step Thursday by admitting to “deep feelings” for the New England Patriots.
De Blasio, who lived in Cambridge, Mass., from age 5 until leaving for college at NYU, came clean about his dirty football allegiance on 1010 WINS radio.
“The truth is what the public demands,” de Blasio said, after he was asked if he preferred the Jets or Giants.
He also blamed his parents.
“I’ve addressed the baseball part of this equation,” he said about his unholy Red Sox ties.

“But I was born in Manhattan — my family is all from New York — but my parents moved to Massachusetts when I was 5 years old. That’s where I went to school.”
Then de Blasio, 52, finally had to make this hard-hitting admission: He roots for pretty-boy quarterback Tom Brady and known cheater Bill Belichick, New England’s sullen, antisocial coach.
“So I grew up with the New England Patriots, and I have to be honest about that,” de Blasio said of the franchise known for “Spygate” — a 2007 scandal that exposed the Patriots for illegally videotaping opposing teams’ practices.
“And I have a lot of deep feelings for that team.”
Sensing potential Big Blue and Gang Green political blowback, de Blasio tried to cover the spread with some nice words about the harmless Jets.
De Blasio said Gang Green has put fans through so much pain and heart ache over the years, those supporters deserve his pity.
“I also have a lot of sympathy for Jets fans who have gone through a lot over the years,” he said. “So, even though I don’t support their team, I have sympathy for them.”Bloomberg has claimed his only real sports allegiance growing up was to the Boston Braves — the now-Atlanta Braves who left The Hub for Milwaukee after the 1952 season.
