Six children and two adults were injured Thursday after a cement truck slammed into the side of a school bus in Cypress Hills, said FDNY officials.
The accident occurred after school hours around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln and Atlantic Avenue in Queens, authorities said. The cement truck t-boned the school bus, which was full of children at the time of the accident.
The eight victims were taken to Jamaica Hospital and were treated for minor injuries.
