Airline a bare-line for flier

It was Erin go “aaagh!” for a Brooklyn woman who is suing Irish airline Aer Lingus, saying its flight attendants forced her to hobble down a jumbo-jet aisle with no pants on after she was scalded with boiling-hot tea.

In the Brooklyn federal suit, Christine Rivera says she and a pal hopped on a flight in March for what was supposed to be an enjoyable jaunt to Dublin.

But the preschool teacher’s vacation spirit was doused when a cup of hot tea that had been handed over by a flight attendant slid off of her dining tray and splashed on her thigh.

Rivera quickly removed her pants to get the hot tea off her scalded skin, according to the suit.

Startled by the commotion, flight attendants told her to move to another seat — but failed to provide any cover for her as she was forced to strut down the aisle in front of other passengers in her skivvies, according to court papers.

Staffers then told her to remove her wet underpants, the suit claims, and handed over a blanket for the rest of the trip without asking whether she needed assistance with the burn.

Rivera rushed to an Irish hospital after touching down in Dublin and was diagnosed with second-degree burns, the suit states.

Aer Lingus denied Rivera’s claims in a court filing this week.
