A group of thugs shouted anti-gay slurs and attacked a gay couple walking on 24th Street after seeing a movie in Chelsea, cops said.
The victims, 53 and 27, had left the Bowtie Chelsea Cinemas at around midnight early yesterday when as many as six men accosted them.
The victims were taken to Beth Israel Hospital with numerous facial cuts. Police are investigating the attack as a hate crime.
