Kanye West heads must-see fall concert lineup

The autumn concert lineup is filled with a local band made good, old friends with new parts, a former Disney gal, a Beach Boy and a classic- rock guitar hero. JT is back in town. And it will take two boroughs to host new dad Kanye West — he’s touching down in Brooklyn and Manhattan with the Yeezus Tour. Here are the fall’s must-see shows.

Pixies, Sept. 17, 18 and 20, Bowery Ballroom; Sept. 19, Music Hall of Williamsburg

Having just replaced original bassist Kim Deal with Kim Shattuck of the Muffs, the forefathers of alternative rock are about to launch their comeback with a series of intimate New York gigs. $45, boweryballroom.com

Vampire Weekend, Sept. 20, Barclays Center

The quartet of Columbia University alumni hit Roseland Ballroom and “SNL” near the May release of the beautifully crafted, stylistically diverse and lyrically complex “Modern Vampires of the City,” then took off for Europe and elsewhere. Now, the local boys are giving a proper big show in their hometown. Tickets from $35, barclayscenter.com

Charles Bradley, Sept. 20, Williamsburg Park

He didn’t become a star until his 60s, but this authentic soul man was worth the wait. Free, williamsburgparkbk.com

Rock the Bells, Oct. 4 and 5, Meadowlands Racetrack

The annual touring hip-hop festival concludes in the New York neighborhood this year and features an impressive list of acts over two days, featuring J Cole, Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky and Wu-Tang Clan — complete with a virtual ODB. Two-day tickets from $150, rockthebells.net

Sara Bareilles, Oct. 9, Radio City Music Hall

The singer-songwriter has recently enjoyed a spike in her profile due to accusations that Katy Perry’s “Roar” plagiarized her track “Brave.” Tickets from $35, radiocity.com

Brian Wilson & Jeff Beck, Oct. 15, Beacon Theatre

It’s billed as a joint-headline tour, but this doubleheader is bound to lean more toward the Beach Boy and his dizzying collection of hits. Tickets from $59, beacontheatre.com

Selena Gomez, Oct. 16, Barclays Center

Justin Bieber’s ex is making the often-traveled journey from child star to pop star with her debut album “Stars Dance.” Tickets from $30.50

Pearl Jam, Oct. 18 and 19, Barclays Center

Still going strong (23 years and counting), the Seattle rock institution hits town to promote their upcoming “Lightning Bolt” album. Tickets from $79.50

Drake, Oct. 28, Barclays Center

The string of excellent songs Drake has drip-fed onto the Internet so far this year have all signaled that the Canadian is set to ascend into hip-hop’s elite. Support comes from Future and failed long-jumper Miguel. Tickets from $59.75

Justin Timberlake, Nov. 6, Barclays Center

He’s already proven himself a legend of the summer, hitting Yankee Stadium with his good buddy Jay Z. But with the release of “The 20/20 Experience: Part 2” imminent, JT is obviously keen to rule on his own terms. Tickets from $54.50

Kanye West, Nov. 19, Barclays Center; Nov. 23, Madison Square Garden

Kanye brings his Yeezus tour to town — and who knows who will turn up onstage to help out (Baby North?). Tickets, TBA

Bryan Adams, Nov. 26, Carnegie Hall

Slayer, Nov. 27, Theater at MSG

The thrash-metal pioneers are finally playing in a New York City show after 25 years for this Thanksgiving Eve gig. The Californians are guaranteed to be as brutal and brilliant as they ever were. Not to be missed. Tickets from $35, theateratmsg.com
