Tourist busted with gun at WTC

They ♥ New York — but they ♥ their guns just as much.

Another dopey tourist was caught at Ground Zero Sunday, traipsing into the 9/11 Memorial with a handgun, law-enforcement sources said.

Ursula Jerry, 41, of Milwaukee never got past the guards. A bag screener spotted the weapon — a .38-caliber Kel-Tec semiautomatic with two rounds in the magazine — and called over a cop.

Jerry was charged with criminal possession of a handgun.

She said she didn’t mean to harm anyone and insisted she carried the weapon on the Amtrak train that brought her here from Wisconsin, where she said has a permit for the weapon, the sources said.

Cops were unable to confirm her story, but said it made little difference, since out-of-state permits aren’t valid in the city.

Jerry isn’t the first hick from the sticks to treat the WTC — and the city in general — site like an Old West saloon.

In 2011, a Tennessee woman was also busted at the memorial for bringing a Kel-Tec pistol into the memorial — and trying to check the handgun like a handbag.

In July, a Georgia tourist who apparently thought he would have no problem strolling into the Empire State Building with a loaded gun, was arrested after he, too, tried to check the weapon at the door.
