As his cancer-stricken mother, Farrah Fawcett, fought for her life in a Los Angeles hospital, wild child Redmond O’Neal was busted today for alleged drug possession in the parking lot of a prison, police said.
Redmond, 24, Fawcett’s son with actor and longtime boyfriend Ryan O’Neal, was charged with possession of a controlled substance on jail property after a routine check at the Pitchess Detention Center, where he was visiting a friend.
Fawcett was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital last week, and one report said she is in “critical but stable” condition.
“She’s in for a procedure, she’ll be out,” Ryan O’Neal told The Post. “This is not at death’s door.”
Then O’Neal, appealed to fans for their support.
“Pray for her,” O’Neal said. “That’s all I can say.”
