Ex-NYU prof who ‘stalked’ married exec refuses plea deal

A sultry ex-NYU economics professor accused of stalking a senior Citigroup economist refused a generous no-jail plea deal Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Prosecutors offered Heleen Mees, 41, a dismissal of the charges in exchange for 12 weeks of therapy.

“We find that offer very disappointing,” said defense lawyer Ira London as Mees stood beside him wearing a black sweater and matching pumps. “The complainant has played a stop-don’t-stop game for three years.”

In addition to completing the required counseling, she’d have to cop to harassment but could withdraw her plea in six months if she stayed out of trouble.

Mees allegedly harassed married moneyman Willem Buiter, 63, after their two-year affair fizzled.

The leggy Dutch blood was arrested July 1 after she allegedly sent more than 3,000 messages to the father of two, including an image of herself masturbating as well as a vulgar message asking “Shall I lick your b—s?”

Mees allegedly began harassing the finance honcho in 2011, sending him 68 emails in a one-month period and even trying to access his hotel room in Amsterdam.

When the sassy stunner didn’t get what she wanted, she lashed out, prosecutors charge. “I hope you die (read this to your wife),” she e-mailed on one occasion.

Mees is due back in court on March 10 for trial. “I’ll have an opportunity to examine Mr Buiter on the witness stand,” said London. “I look forward to that.”
