COPS HUNTING CREW OF MASKED CROOKS

Police are hunting for a crew of masked crooks wanted for a string of brazen, daytime stick-ups in Staten Island, including one caught on camera.

A chilling video released today shows the gang at work, raiding a grocery store on Manor Road near Lincoln Street, shortly after 3 p.m. on July 6.

The video shows he trio storm into the shop. One of the thugs, holding what appears to be a gun at his side, grabs the clerk, while his two accomplices jump over the counters and loot the cash registers.

The crew first struck on April 27, when they raided a Grocery store on Hylan Boulevard near Allendale Road, shortly after 4:30 p.m., said police.

They struck again on May 3, when they raided a grocery store on Van Duzer Street near near Chestnut Street, shortly after 6 p.m.

The gang went on to target another deli on Forest Avenue near Morrow Street on May 10 and yet another grocery store on Richmond Avenue near Steuben Street on June 2, police said.

The trio struck last on July 23, when they stormed into another deli on Clove Road near Briton Avenue, shortly before 3 p.m. In each incident, the gang escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
