NEW YORK MAN INDICTED IN HARVARD SHOOTING DEATH

WOBURN, Mass. — A New York man has been indicted in the May shooting death of a 21-year-old Massachusetts man inside a Harvard University dormitory, moving his case to Massachusetts Superior Court.

The charges handed up Thursday by a Middlesex grand jury accuse Blayn Jiggetts, of Mount Vernon, N.Y., of first-degree murder, accessory after the fact of murder, armed robbery and possession of a firearm. He is being held in New York without bail as he fights extradition.

Prosecutors say Jiggetts and two other men arranged to meet 21-year-old Justin Cosby to get marijuana and rob him. Cosby was shot during a confrontation inside a common area of a dorm and died the next day. None of the men were Harvard students.
