The Jerry gang’s all here on HBO’s ‘Curb’

The show about nothing is having a must-see reunion. Well, sort of…

Season seven of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm will include a five-episode story arc featuring Seinfeld alums Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Richards (Kramer), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine) and Jason Alexander (George).

“I have always said there is not going to be a reunion show. They are lame,” Curb star and Seinfeld creator Larry David tells The Post.

“Then I started to think ‘What if I did this so called reunion show on Curb?’ And this idea really resonated with me.”

David says the new season – set to begin in September – will catch up with the quirky New Yorkers in present day as they prepare and rehearse for a fictional episode of the popular ’90s sitcom.

“Of course, my (TV alter-ego) could wreck it,” David hints.

The episodes will also feature Seinfeld favorites like Newman (Wayne Knight), Bania (Steve Hytner) and Jason’s mom (Estelle Harris), David reveals. “It was an exhilarating experience for everyone.”

In a preview screened for TV critics in Los Angeles today, Jerry and George debate whether it okay to blow your nose in a cloth restaurant napkin.

Parts of the make believe episode will be seen during Curb’s season finale, which may be expanded to a full hour, David says.

“There is regular Curb stuff in these shows as well,” David notes. “The Seinfeld cast plays themselves offstage involved in regular Curb stories. I have got issues with them about other things.”

The “reunion” episodes, which include scenes shot in Jerry’s Manhattan apartment and the corner coffee shop, mark the first time the prime-time stars have worked together since the series ended 11 years ago.

David says “it is possible” that the new season of Curb will address Michael Richards 2006 misstep at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood.
