Steve gal: Self-love, not sex, is his woe

Shamed former sportscaster Steve Phillips isn’t addicted to sex — he’s just a raging egomaniac, his still-fuming ex-mistress claims.

“Steve’s not a sex addict,” blasted the ESPN analyst’s former parking-lot plaything, Brooke Hundley. “The only thing he’s ever been addicted to is feeding his own ego.”

Hundley’s comments, made on her Facebook page Monday, came in the wake of Phillips’ “Today” show appearance, in which he told Matt Lauer he’s an addict with a “compulsion” to cheat on his wife.

“I couldn’t stop myself from doing the things that I was doing, even knowing the consequences — marriage, great job, great career, and I risked all of it,” said Phillips, an ex-Mets general manager who sometimes hooked up with Hundley in parking lots.

“A true sex addict,” Hundley wrote, “has an unrelenting need to get sex anywhere, anytime, and rack up multiple people.”

But that wasn’t Phillips’ m.o. during their fling, said Hundley, who had been an ESPN production assistant.

“Sex addicts don’t pick out a single young employee to go after who has to worry about her career if she says anything,” she wrote.

Phillips — whose affair with Hundley was first reported last year by The Post — also finished a 45-day stint at the same Mississippi rehab joint that lady-crazy Tiger Woods attended.

Hundley also lamented her fate on Twitter.

“What I wouldn’t give for just 1 undo card in life, ” she tweeted.
