Slay-kid shock

The pharmaceutical-executive mom who allegedly killed her 8-year-old son at a posh Midtown hotel was once detained by Wyoming police after she bizarrely claimed that her child was being molested by a satanic cult, authorities said yesterday.

While she was living in California about 2½ years ago, Gigi Jordan wrote a series of frantic letters to Flint Waters, a Wyoming sex-crimes investigator who is now retired, that Jude Michael was being abused by devil worshipers, Cheyenne Detective Tom Hood told The Post.

She made a similar claim in the suicide note she left at the scene of her son’s slaying. The rambling, 20-page missive also indicated that she thought the mob was after her, sources said.

When Waters told Jordan to contact local authorities, she decided to hop on a plane with the autistic boy. “Next thing you know, she’s flying into Cheyenne,” Hood said.

The strange correspondence and odd behavior made cops suspect Jordan, 49, was mentally unstable. When she arrived in town, they took Jude Michael into protective custody and detained her for psychiatric evaluation.

“We were like, this lady is definitely not all there and this kid was not in a stable environment,” said Hood. “She said her boy made all these disclosures [about the abuse] by typing on the computer, but he couldn’t type. She was typing for him.”

The child was given a physical exam and no signs of abuse were found. Jordan, who was charged yesterday with murdering her son at the Peninsula Hotel, was held for 48 hours but released.

She then left town with her son.

Yesterday, Jude Michael’s father said he was in a “state of shock” about his ex-wife being charged with the slaying.

“This is something I never thought could happen,” Emil Valentino Tzekov said. “She had no psychological problems. She just had a tough upbringing. I’d like to know what happened.”

Tzekov, 42, said he hadn’t heard from his multimillionaire ex-wife, or their son in about two years.

His boy, he said, was “profoundly afflicted” by autism.

“He could understand what people were saying to him, but he couldn’t speak or write, so he communicated just by pointing,” said Tzekov, a California yoga guru.

He and Jordan were married in 2001 and about 18 months later, Jude Michael was born.

“She wanted so much to have a baby. She was a very good mom,” he said.

But by 2006, the pair divorced. Jordan moved with the boy to San Francisco and about a year later they moved to the East Coast.

“That was the last I had heard from her. I didn’t even know they were in New York,” he said.

Jordan was undergoing psychiatric evaluation at Bellevue Hospital yesterday. She is accused of feeding her son a lethal cocktail of pills before trying to commit suicide.
