Maid-bite suit a breed apart

With all that good breeding, you’d think it would have known better.

An English bulldog belonging to one of the world’s wealthiest families, the Santo Domingos of Colombia, viciously attacked a maid at their ritzy residence at 740 Park Ave., according to a lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The dog belongs to family scion Andres Santo Domingo, 30, and his wife, Lauren.

On Feb. 4, 2007, the allegedly vicious canine set its sights on Ozenir Paulo, a 57-year-old maid who’d worked for the family for years, attorney Thomas Agoglia said.

The dog sank its teeth into the woman’s upper thigh and would not release her until Andres Santo Domingo ran to the scene.

The family’s attorney, Costa Kensington, called the whole situation a bit of bull.

“This incident occurred almost three years ago,” he said. “It was a simple dog bite, and the medical bills were paid for by the Santo Domingo family.”
