Jiggle joints hope X marks the $pot

AUGUSTA, Ga. Local strip-club owners are bracing for an influx of horndogs this week — thanks to Tiger Woods’ return to the Masters.

Many are opening earlier and importing extra dancers from across the country — including New York — for the expected record turnout at the kind of jiggle joints Tiger famously frequented.

“We’re expecting this to be our biggest year yet,” said James Lester, who owns three Augusta strip clubs, including the Discotheque Lounge, a fully nude bar just a few miles from Augusta National.

More than 40 extra strippers will be working at his clubs this week “to cope with the demand,” Lester said.

Due to laws in Augusta forbidding physical contact at clubs, there are no lap dances or VIP rooms. Instead, strippers provide “air dances” — where they must keep air between themselves and patrons at all times.

By all accounts, Woods’ tastes run more toward close physical contact, although he liked to come off as something of a nudie-bar virgin at first, club owners have said.

Woods also was no stranger to VIP rooms, where celebrity clientele get extra-special attention — discreetly.

Now that his secret is out, Woods should feel free to partake in Augusta’s finest offerings, Lester said.

“If Tiger wanted to stop by, that’d be great,” he said. “I’d like to have him here. We would more than accommodate him.”

Whether he shows up or not, the sex-scandal-scarred star’s presence should mean a lot more business, Lester’s dancers said.

“I think there will be a big increase in customers, thanks to Tiger Woods,” said one stripper. “I’d love it if Tiger won and came down here. I’d give him a special dance to celebrate.”

Another dancer said that, thanks to Tiger, she may earn enough cash in one week so that “I don’t have to work much during the summer.”
