Earth Day in NYC

Earth Day New York will commemorate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day in Times Square today with a live stage showcasing community speakers, officials and artists. Plus, check out these other events around the city.

EARTH FAIR

Taste organic foods, see sustainable fashion, learn about alternative energy sources and hear live music, plus dozens of exhibitors, at Grand Central Station. Plus, photography, artwork and mixed media focusing on the environment will be projected in the main hall.

Conservation staff will talk about the 152 different types of trees that fill the landscape of Central Park.
