NY man pleads guilty to fatal stabbing rampage

A Queens man has admitted to stabbing three people, one fatally, during an unprovoked stabbing rampage on a New York City street.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown says 42-year-old David E. Williams pleaded guilty on Thursday to murder and assault in last January’s attacks in Flushing, Queens.

The former bouncer is accused of randomly stabbing a 41-year-old woman as she walked along a street. She has since recovered. Minutes later, authorities say Williams attacked and stabbed an elderly couple. The husband died and the wife was critically injured.

Williams faces 25 years to life in prison at his June 9 sentencing.
