First Madonna — now Britney Spears?
“Glee” creator Ryan Murphy, whose show devoted an entire episode to the music of The Material Girl, says he’s “interested” in doing the same with Spears — whose manager floated the idea via Twitter following the Madonna “Glee” episode.
“I’m interested in the Britney Spears idea. I’ve always loved her,” Murphy told Entertainment Weekly.
“I’m entertaining it. I think young kids would like that.”
Murphy said he’s also considering “Glee” theme episodes built around the music of Led Zeppelin, Billy Joel and Courtney Love.
“I actually ran into Courtney Love the other day and talked to her,” he told EW. “She’s interested.”
