Mira’s new hubby

Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino is returning to the small screen.

Sorvino, 45, will play comedian Jim Gaffigan’s wife in his as-yet-untitled CBS sitcom pilot.

If the show makes it on to CBS’s prime-time schedule, it will mark Sorvino’s first regular series role since “Swan’s Crossing,” a syndicated teen drama that aired in 1992.

Sorvino — who won an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress in 1995 for “Mighty Aphrodite” — will play Jeannie, a “super-wife and super-mom of five” dealing with her man-child husband (Gaffigan), according to deadline.com.

Gaffigan and Peter Tolan, who worked on FX’s “Rescue Me,” are both writing and executive-producing the pilot.
