The stalker harassing Miss USA Erin Brady was arrested at a Brooklyn homeless shelter, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Police busted Lanre Orimabogunje, 28, for stalking after he had been bothering the stunner outside her Manhattan apartment, which was a perk that came with Brady’s Miss America prize. Brady had been scared by the nutjob lingering around her building and babbling nonsense about her crown while trying to touch her head, law-enforcement sources confirmed they were told by a pageant representative.
Orimabogunje was tracked down by authorities after he jotted down his first name in a book near the apartment and after cops followed up they discovered the shelter where he was eventually busted. When Orimabogunje was found he had a picture of the pageant winner in his pocket and would later make incriminating statements to the police, sources said.
On Aug. 5, the creep told a doorman he had been “tracking her since she was born,” the sources said. The creep also was spotted twice at Miss USA headquarters in Midtown.
Brady’s grandmother, Theresa Brady, said Erin was shaken when he went upstairs to her apartment.
“She didn’t say a word — she locked the door, then called downstairs to the desk,” the granny told The Post.
