CNN will air a sitdown interview with Prince William on this Monday’s “New Day” (8 a.m.) in which he talks about the July 22 birth of his son, Prince George of Cambridge.
The exclusive sound bites were culled from “Prince William’s Passion: New Father, New Hope,” a special co-produced by CNN and London-based Spungold Productions airing Sept. 15 on CNN.
It will also air next month (airdate to be determined) on ITV in the UK.
CNN royal correspondent Max Foster conducted the interview with Prince William in England.
In the upcoming special, Prince William will also talk about his wife, Kate Middleton (the Duchess of Cambridge), his family and his passion for Africa (he’s been an outspoken proponent of saving endangered species).
A CNN spokesperson told The Post that there were no “special deals” made with the Royal Palace in order to get Prince William to cooperate with the special.
“New Day,” which premiered June 17, is hosted by Chris Cuomo, Kate Bolduan and Michaela Pereira.
