A driver died last night in a wild car wreck outside a Brooklyn beach club, according to police.
Phil Mendola, 61, went speeding down Surf Avenue in Coney Island at 5 p.m. and slammed into a home, killing himself and seriously injuring his passenger, who was in stable condition at Lutheran Medical Center.
