‘Parks & Rec” and Starr Report fave Jim O’Heir, who plays good-natured schlub Jerry Gergich on the NBC sitcom, is returning to ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” — but this time as a guest.

O’Heir, who’s been a “Parks & Rec” regular since the show’s April 2009 premiere, has appeared twice before on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” both times in pre-taped skits. Back in March, he rocked three Abercrombie shirts in “Abercrombie for Plus-Size People with Jim O’Heir,” a spoof of the clothing retailer, which doesn’t carry sizes bigger than large because, as Jimmy Kimmel pointed out in his monologue, “they don’t want plus-size people wearing their clothes.” Jim’s live appearance on “JKL” is scheduled to air Friday, Sept. 6 (11:35 p.m.)

Jim and the rest of the “Parks & Rec” gang (Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Aziz Ansari, Rob Lowe et al.) return for the show’s sixth season, a one-hour premiere airing Thursday, Sept. 26 (8 p.m.).

‘Who’? Tennant, of course

A few weeks back I reviewed BBC America’s “Broadchurch,” which I really enjoyed ” — and now that I’ve watched the entire series (which ends Oct. 2), I can safely say that it’s one of the best TV murder mystery series in recent memory. And to think that scruffy David Tennant, who plays brooding Scottish homicide detective Alec Hardy on “Broadchurch,” starred as the 10th “Dr. Who” (on the BBC from 2005-2010). Who’d a thunk it? Olivia Colman, who plays Hardy’s “Broadchurch” colleague, Detective Inspector Ellie Miller, also does an excellent job in her role.

Last, but not least . . .

Home & Family” co-host Cristina Ferrare will be here today and tomorrow. Her show, which she co-hosts with Mark Steines, returns to Hallmark Channel with new episodes in October … Queen Latifah, who returns with a new daytime talk show this fall, will host and narrated “Teach,” a two-hour special airing Sept. 6 on CBS and produced by Oscar winner Davis Guggenheim (“An Inconvenient Truth”). It honors teachers (Latifah’s mother was a teacher in the New Jersey public school system) … Dr. Max Gomez joins CUNY TV’s “Science & U!” team tomorrow for a story on the healing power of adult stem cell therapies… Jessica Nicola tells me that Lynn Dell Cohen, Joyce Carpati and Rita Ellis Hammer — otherwise known as the ladies of ID’s new series, “Elder Skelter” — were over at Katz’s Deli (E. Houston St.) late last week shooting a new episode.
