Guilty SAC trader’s pal after conviction: ‘ooooohhh f–k’

Convicted SAC trader Michael Steinberg had a real pal in former hedge fund exec Andy Heller during his four-week trial, which ended Wednesday.

Heller, whose brother Sandy is an art consultant for SAC founder Steve Cohen, attended the downtown Manhattan courthouse proceedings regularly.

And when Steinberg was convicted, Heller, 41, the former COO of Exis Capital, could be seen throwing his head back and moaning, “ooooohhh f–ck,” sources told On The Money.

But if Steinberg and his wife, Liz, were serious about giving off a humble vibe to the jury, as reported by The Post last week, then perhaps Heller wasn’t the best man for the job.

Even as a teen, Heller’s mantra was “greed is good” — the line made famous by the Gordon Gekko character from Oliver Stone’s 1987 film “Wall Street,” sources tell On the Money. Indeed, Heller used the line as the quote next to his 1990 yearbook photo from Lawrence High School in Cedarhurst, NY.

His goal at the time was also quite lofty: “To make my first million by 25 — retire at 35 and buy companies for fun,” according to a copy of the yearbook page obtained by On the Money.

Heller was accused, along with SAC Capital, of manipulating shares of Canadian financial company Fairfax Financial in 2006. The lawsuit against both Heller and SAC has since been tossed.
