The Honest Co., which counts among its founders actress Jessica Alba and LegalZoom founder Brian Lee, said it raised $25 million in second-round funding.
The Los Angeles-based company, which sells branded all-natural diapers and other baby and kid products, has raised $52 million in the last two years. The latest round was led by Institutional Venture Partners and Iconiq Capital.
Alba, who serves as president of the company, says the new funding will be used for new product development and building out the distribution network.
The company is also looking to accelerate growth initiatives, including expansion outside the US.
The Honest Co. operates a subscription e-commerce website, which allows clients to register for different monthly baskets of products.
