Man fatally shot in the head in Park Slope

An argument at a Park Slope apartment turned violent Friday night, leaving one man dead and several others injured.

Witnesses say William Jordan, of Brooklyn, was drinking with acquaintances inside his first floor apartment at the Warren Street Houses, when they heard shots just before 7:00 p.m.

“They were inside drinking, just a regular Friday night, and then I heard a faint sounding gun shot,” said a witness.

According to authorities, Jordan, 43-years-old, was transported to Methodist Hospital in respiratory and cardiac arrest from a gunshot wound to the head, and was later pronounced dead.

“The way they (EMS) brought him out, pumping his chest, he looked bad,” a witness said of Jordan.

Two other men at the apartment sustained minor head injuries after being pistol whipped, cops say. Another victim was grazed in the hip with a bullet, but refused medical attention, according to police.

Cops say an investigation behind the shooting is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
