Snoopy’s ‘seven’ heaven

Meet Snoopy 7.0!

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade unveiled its seventh incarnation of the popular Peanuts character Saturday — an adorable balloon float featuring the cartoon pooch soaring, belly-down, while his feathered pal Woodstock sits atop his head.

The new design marks the 37th year the character has been featured — racking up more appearances than any other cartoon since the parade’s inception in 1924.

Snoopy debuted at the parade in 1968 and has since appeared in get-ups including skates, headphones and a crown. Floats have an average shelf life of seven years.

Handlers tested five new balloons Saturday, including SpongeBob SquarePants, a dragon from “How to Train Your Dragon” and Finn and Jake from the cartoon “Adventure Time.”
