Yankees will bring back entire coaching staff

There figure to be plenty of new faces with the Yankees next season, but not in the dugout.

The team announced Friday the entire coaching staff would be retained, which had been expected. Kevin Long will be back for his eighth season as hitting coach and Larry Rothschild will enter his fourth year as the team’s pitching coach. First base coach Mick Kelleher, third base coach Rob Thomson, bench coach Tony Pena and bullpen coach Mike Harkey also will return.

They will join Joe Girardi, who signed a four-year deal last month to stay as manager.
