Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s baby, Gunnar Stone Pratt, arrived on Sunday night with the help of thousands of dollars of crystals in the delivery room.
“Shout out @crystalarium1 for dropping off $27,000 in crystals for the birth,” Pratt tweeted on Sunday.
It sounds exorbitant, sure, but crystal expert and Goop’s in-house shaman Colleen McCann says the former reality stars (and known crystal fans) are right on trend.
“I [recently] gifted a dear friend two large, palm-sized crystals to hold during labor as she birthed twins,” she tells The Post, noting that she’s seeing an uptick in people who turn to crystals during major life events, such as birth, weddings and divorce.
“The crystals given to a child at birth will vary as each person is different,” McCann says, but adds that general recommendations include bloodstone for health, rose quartz for love and pink mangano calcite for good sleeping habits.
The pricy stones, it seems, are the new silver spoon.
