Trump admin ‘not big fans’ of UK ambassador who called WH ‘inept’

President Trump said “we are not big fans” of the British ambassador to the US who called his administration “inept.”

“We’ve had our little ins and outs with a couple of countries and I’d say that the UK and the ambassador has not served the UK well, I can tell you that,” the president said of Sir Kim Darroch during comments as he left Morristown, N.J., for the White House Sunday afternoon.

“We are not big fans of that man and he has not served the UK well so I can understand and I can say things about him but I won’t bother,” he added.

Darroch, according to messages leaked to Britain’s Daily Mail, had described the Trump White House to officials in London as “incompetent,” “insecure” and “uniquely dysfunctional.”

Darroch, Britain’s top man in Washington, said Trump’s career could end in “disgrace.”
