Perv busted for breaking into women’s homes, trying on lingerie: cops

A sex offender suspected of burglarizing multiple women while completely nude was arrested Tuesday, according to reports.

Curtis Sell, 53, broke into the first woman’s apartment in Lakewood, Washington, the morning of Aug. 2, according to authorities. She awoke to find him leaning over her bed wearing nothing but a condom and her headband around his waist, the News Tribune reported. The woman was able to push Sell out of her apartment before calling police.

Another sleeping woman in the same apartment complex later woke up to find the pervert half inside her bedroom removing a window fan.

The woman’s terrified yell seemed to startle Sell, who exited out the window and ran away, according to the Lakewood Police Department.

A third unsuspecting woman told police she came home around noon and found Sell in a closet wearing her bra while holding a pair of her underwear and a vibrator.

Sell had allegedly drunk a beverage he took from her refrigerator, opened a bottle of nail polish and cut his hair.

After the woman repeatedly told him to get out, Sell calmly left her home completely naked, wearing only black and white tennis shoes, KOMO reported.

During their investigation, police discovered a small camp near the apartment complex where they found Sell’s ID and cellphone with pictures of him wearing women’s lingerie.

After receiving an anonymous tip, police were able to track down Sell hiding in an attic at an undisclosed location.

“[Sell] was taken into custody (around 1 a.m.) without incident on his outstanding felony warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender,” according to police. “Sell has also been charged with 3 counts of Residential Burglary.”

Sell was convicted in 1997 of second-degree child rape for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in his trailer. He also has three convictions for failing to register as a sex offender, the News Tribune reported.

“In the past, he’s also used drugs on his victims and he’s been convicted multiple times, so this is somebody who obviously can’t control himself and we believe is a danger,” Pierce County Detective Ed Troyer told KCPQ.

Sell will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon.
