Love hurts.
A couple was arrested for getting into a machete-and-knife fight with one another inside a Midtown apartment Monday.
A lovers’ quarrel between Karen Capote, 21, and Dorian Feliciano, 25, got heated inside Feliciano’s first-floor apartment on East 52nd Street near Second Avenue around noon, when Capote allegedly stabbed Feliciano in the stomach with a kitchen knife, according to police.
Feliciano then allegedly whipped out a machete and hacked Capote’s right arm, cops said.
He fled and was arrested on East 52nd Street near Third Avenue — he still had the large machete on him, according to law-enforcement officials.
Both were taken to Bellevue Medical Center for treatment and psychological evaluation, police said.
They were each charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
