Anthony Weiner will plead guilty to sexting with a 15-year-old girl

Anthony Weiner is expected to plead guilty in federal court on Friday to charges he sexted with a minor last year.

The scandal-scarred former congressman will cop to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor as part of a plea agreement with the US Attorney’s Office in Manhattan.

Weiner was arrested after turning himself in Friday morning to the FBI. He will appear in court at 11 a.m., the US Attorney’s Office said.

Feds have been investigating claims that Weiner, then 51, sent a 15-year-old North Carolina girl inappropriate messages starting in January 2016.

The charge carries up to 10 years behind bars — though Weiner will likely face far less time, pursuant to his plea deal. But he may have to register as a sex offender.

Weiner’s attorney, Arlo Devlin-Brown — who helped win a conviction against former state Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver when he was a federal prosecutor — didn’t return a request for comment.

The ex-lawmaker, who is married to longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, carried on a months-long relationship with the then-15-year-old.

The girl and her father told the Daily Mail that Weiner knew the girl was a minor.

The two texted and spoke over Skype, with Weiner — using the alias “T Dog” — sharing with her his “rape fantasies” and asking her to dress up in school uniforms, she told the site.

“He had some rape fantasies. It would just be him showing up at my house when my dad was out of town,” the girl told the Mail. “And just start undressing me, being forceful, asking me if I want to be dominated, strange questions.”

Weiner reportedly once told the girl, “I would bust that tight p–y so hard and so often that you would leak and limp for a week,” and sent her bare-chested pictures of himself.

Weiner’s career in politics unraveled in 2011 after pictures of his crotch emerged — ultimately leading him to resign from Congress.

Two years later, the Democrat took a crack at reviving his flailing career by running in the New York mayoral race.

But his campaign was torpedoed after it was revealed that he’d been sexting a woman named Sydney Leathers using the moniker “Carlos Danger.”

Last year, The Post exclusively reported that Weiner sent pics of his bulging privates to another woman in July 2015 — as his toddler son slept beside him in bed.

“Someone just climbed into my bed,” Weiner wrote during that sordid exchange.

“Really?” she responded.

Abedin initially announced her split from her horndog hubby last August after the pic of his crotch and son was revealed.

But the couple, who were married in 2010, were recently said to be working hard at saving their marriage.

Weiner’s most recent sexting scandal became entangled in the 2016 presidential election.

As feds probed him for sexting the underage girl, they uncovered a stash of emails on a laptop shared by him and Abedin — prompting the FBI to reopen its investigation into Clinton’s use of her private email server just days before the election.

Clinton was never charged.

Weiner’s guilty plea was first reported by the New York Times.
