These twins are Bill Belichick’s newest Patriots projects

The New England Patriots are no strangers to dealing with siblings in the locker room. Last season, New England signed Rob Gronkowski’s younger brother Glenn to the practice squad, and it appears the Patriots have gone the family route again, this time reportedly signing twins.

According to the Providence Journal, the Patriots signed twins Cody and Jacob Hollister as part of their undrafted free-agent haul. Cody, a 6-4 wideout out of Arkansas, caught 10 passes for 140 yards last year while Jacob, a 6-4 tight end out of Wyoming, caught 32 passes for 515 yards and seven touchdowns in 2016.

FOX Sports College Football Insider Bruce Feldman featured the Hollister twins in a story leading up to the NFL Draft, chronicling their journey from inseparable toddlers to the struggles of being apart while playing for two different schools.

“Honestly, in the beginning it was really hard,” Cody said in the piece. “We’re naturally such home bodies. He’s kind of been the big brother. I never had to deal with things on my own. I really had to mature into my own man. We both needed it. Growing up as twins you grow up as a part of each other. I really thank God every day for (how it’s played out).”

In all, the Patriots reportedly have signed 17 undrafted free agents.
